LANSING — Z!Eats, formerly Zoup!, has closed its downtown location after nearly 15 years in a storefront off South Washington Square.

The chain, which has eight other locations in Michigan, opened at 214 S. Washington Square in late 2010 as Zoup!. The restaurant, which has since changed its name, served soups, sandwiches, salads, wraps and bowls, according to its website.

On Tuesday, July 22, signage on its front entrance read “Zoup! will be closed permanently. Great Harvest Bakery & Cafe will be coming soon.”
