Chemistry Day 2024

Join Impressions 5 on October 26 to celebrate Chemistry Day! From 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., you can explore chemistry with different hands-on experiments at your Science Center. This celebration closes out National Chemistry Week, which encourages chemists and chemistry enthusiasts to build awareness of chemistry at the local level.

This year’s theme is Picture Perfect Chemistry. Discover how chemistry plays a crucial role in photography and modern imaging! From nanoscale microscopes to medical imaging like CT scans, MRIs, and even telescopes that help us explore the depths of space, chemistry is everywhere! Join Impressions 5 as they partner with the MSU Local Section of the American Chemistry Society for this FREE public event.
